COVID19 (Coronavirus) – Further Update
Following the Uk Governments latest guidance published 3rd November and the announcement from the Prime Minister on Saturday 31st October we are now facing new National Restrictions from 5th November -2nd December which include:
- You must not leave or be outside of your home except for specific purposes
- Only leave home for food, medical reasons, exercise, education or work
- You must work from home if you can
- Avoid travel unless essential
The Uk Government has updated its website to now state:
‘Overnight stays and holidays away from primary residences will not be allowed- including holidays in the UK and abroad. This includes staying in a second home or caravan, if you own one, or staying with anyone you do not live with or are in a support bubble with’
The Governments instructions have also been for all nonessential businesses to close, specifically including caravan parks. As of Thursday 5th November we have been instructed to close our doors and we are instructing all customers not to travel to our park and those that are currently on park are being asked wherever safely possible to leave the park and go home.
The park reception is now closed from Thursday 5th November.
We will have a member of staff on hand contactable in an emergency only via mobile number 07399 715323 which will have a voicemail service in place if your call cannot be answered.
Contractors have been instructed to not visit the park until further notice however we will still have a staff presence on site to carry out essential park maintenance to ensure we still have our beautiful park to come back to. Please maintain the recommended distance from any staff members out on site.
We ask you for your continued patience through these difficult times. Our park owner, management team and staff only have access to the same public information available on the government website as the general public. We would urge you to visit the Government website for further information on what is and is not allowed under the current National Restrictions. We are constantly reviewing the updated information and will update our procedures as soon as possible.
These are heartbreaking times for businesses and families alike, but we must all do what we can to follow the guidance we have been given, prevent the spread of this virus further and reduce the impact on the NHS.
We are now delighted to say that our park will be open from Saturday 4th July!
Our Reception will be open to deal with holiday home sales enquiries on an appointment basis wherever possible. It is also open to all lodge and s-pod holiday bookings.
We ask that if any holiday home owners have any queries or questions that can be dealt with over the phone or via email, we strongly advise that they do so.
Any visits to the park and reception building will be conducted under social distancing guidelines.
Please take care and stay safe.

The Uk Government has updated its advice for essential travel late yesterday to now state:
‘Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not to do so puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.’

People in Briton are to stay at home and are only allowed to leave their homes for very limited purposes:
• Shopping for basic necessities
• For one form of exercise a day
